APAP conference New York

Funded through Wales Arts International’s Connect: International Market Development and Network Fund, Carole Blade attended the APAP New York City conference and experienced a wide and varied range of seminars, performances and trade-fair.

APAP|NYC 2017, January 6-10

APAP members, friends and colleagues from the performing arts industry gathered for five days of professional development, business deals and exciting performances. This year celebrating its 60th anniversary, the conference brought together performing arts leaders, artists, managers, agents and presenters from more than 35 nations and all 50 U.S. states. The conference discuss important trends in performing arts, explored challenges and opportunities anticipated for the future, and conducted business by showcasing artists and connecting them to audiences in the U.S. and around the world.

For Carole it provided her with opportunity to see over 40 U.S. dance companies, meet and discuss important and relevant issues, profile Welsh artists and make new connections across the pond.

An exciting and exhilarating experience –

THANK YOU WALES ARTS INTERNATIONAL FOR AFFORDING THIS OPPORTUNITY!
