End of the current Coreo Programme

Coreo finished it’s current Arts Council of Wales National Lottery funded programme at the end of November 2017 and said a fond farewell to its current structure as a project within Chapter’s infrastructure. The future of Coreo is yet to be mapped out but the legacy of some of its projects and collaborations continue. In the meantime, Coreo’s Creative Producer, Carole Blade continues to develop programmes and work with artists and partners from the Welsh dance sector and beyond.

Quote from Carole Blade
“Its been an incredibly uplifting and challenging journey developing and delivering the Coreo Cymru programme over the last seven years. There’s been so many highlights within the diverse programme its difficult to point to only a few but the ones that resonant are the collaborations The Igam Ogam Show(In)visible DancingBritish Dance Edition 2016Dance RoadsFamily Dance FestivalDance Dome and the 1-1 surgeries with artists. As I enter into a different phase as a freelance creative producer I feel blessed to have had the opportunity and support afforded me by the Arts Council of Wales and Chapter and the many partner organisations and artists I’ve had the pleasure of working with. My hope is that Coreo will continue into the future.”
